Say hello to Dari. She is a 4-year-old female Sumatran tiger from the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington.
Dari is joining the Phoenix Zoo as a part of a breeding recommendation from The Association of Zoos and Aquariums Sumatran Tiger Species Survival Plan.
According to the zoo's carnivore staff, Dari has a sweet demeanor and has already begun exploring her new habitat.
Her official debut is Dec. 7. If you're heading to the zoo this weekend, be sure to stop by and say hello!
