GOODYEAR, Ariz. — A motorcyclist has been transported to a local trauma center after getting into a collision with a Goodyear police car on Tuesday, police officials said.
First responders were dispatched to the area of Estrella Parkway and Van Buren Street for reports of a crash involving a police vehicle and a motorcycle.
A man on the motorcycle was taken to the hospital and a police officer was also transported for minor injuries, Goodyear police said.
A second collision involving two vehicles occurred in the same area shortly after the first crash. Up to three people sustained minor injuries in that incident.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has been asked to investigate the incident.
Drivers can expect traffic delays in this area.
