GLENDALE, Ariz. — A motorcyclist died after crashing into a school bus in Glendale, according to officials with the Glendale Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene, near Claremont Street and Litchfield Road, around 3:15 p.m. The bus did not have any students on it, officials said.
Witnesses told police the motorcyclist was trying to avoid a crash with another vehicle when he crashed into the moving bus.
Courtney French, who identified herself in a GoFundMe for the motorcyclist as his daughter, said her father was a military serviceman and is survived by multiple family members. The GoFundMe can be found here.
