GLENDALE, Ariz. - Monster Jam is slamming into the Valley Saturday and the football field at University of Phoenix Stadium has been transformed into a pit for giant trucks.

The 11,000 pound beasts will roar through the stadium Saturday afternoon. Fans will get to experience an action-packed show. There will be world-class racing between more than a dozen monster trucks, including performances by Grave Digger, Max D and Toro Loco.

Drivers say the fans will stay on the edge of their seats the entire time.

"It’s nothing like it is on TV," said Scooby Doo driver, Bailey Shea. "You're going to see more excitement, more extreme jumps. You're going to see trucks flying through the air, doing crazy stunts."

“I was that little 8-year-old little boy sitting in the stands," said Grave Digger driver, Jon Zimmer. "I saw the truck years ago. So when I get in the truck, Grave Digger is known for one thing and that’s wowing our fans.

There is a pit party from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The actual show starts at 7 p.m. And remember the clear bag policy will be enforced too.
