MESA, Ariz. - Whether you're buying or selling something in an online marketplace, the Mesa Police Department wants to make that transaction safer.
The department is offering its police stations as safe, public places to exchange money and item.
"Instead of inviting a stranger to your home or visiting a stranger in their home, we encourage citizens to take advantage of our police stations as open public spaces," the department wrote on Facebook.
According to Mesa PD, these stations will have "clearly visible" signs that state it's a transaction location.
