MESA, Ariz. — Fire crews in Mesa worked quickly to prevent a fire in a single-wide trailer from spreading to nearby buildings Tuesday morning.
Crews were called to the area of Val Vista Drive and Main Street shortly before 11 a.m. for reports of a structure fire, according to the Mesa Fire and Medical Division.
When crews arrived they found a single wide trailer well involved. Firefighters managed to get the fire out without it spreading to nearby buildings.
Some people on scene were evaluated for exposure to smoke but no one was taken to the hospital.
The people who lived in the trailer were not home when the fire started.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
