MESA, Ariz. - A family has been evacuated from their home due a broken water transmission in the area.
The City of Mesa reported a 16-inch water transmission main that broke near 6th Street and Emerson Saturday morning.
A street is flooding and 12 homes in the area have water on them, Mesa police said.
There was only one home flooded and the family was evacuated safely.
Mesa police, fire crews and water series are on the scene to fix the main.
