SALT RIVER, Ariz. - Salt River Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at a Chevron on McClintock Drive and McKellips Road early Monday.
Police say they found a man, later identified as 35-year-old Justin Gaston, dead at the scene.
Official had a suspect vehicle description, and found it in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. There was a brief pursuit and the vehicle crashed, police said.
They took two women into custody and tell us they are currently persons of interest.
Salt River PD also found evidence in vehicle linked to crime scene, officers said.
Officers are now looking for a man and woman who may have seen the crime occur. Those two reported the crime to the Chevron clerk and then left scene, police said.
