TOLLESON, Ariz. — An employee is dead after an incident at the JBS Beef Plant in Tolleson, the police department said.
Around 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the facility near 91st Avenue and Buckeye Road for reports of an unresponsive employee.
Police and fire crews provided extensive efforts to save the employee, but the employee was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the employee was not released and the cause of death is currently unknown.
