PHOENIX — Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in west Phoenix.
The Phoenix Police Department said the two-vehicle crash happened on Tuesday at around 2:30 p.m. near 77th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist suffering life-threatening critical injuries.
The man was rushed to the hospital but he did not survive his injuries.
Police identified him as 25-year-old Ricardo Fonseca.
Police said Fonseca was riding west on Lower Buckeye Road when an SUV pulled out of a driveway. Fonseca was unable to stop and collided with the SUV.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene of the crash. She showed no signs of impairment, police said.
