PHOENIX — A man has been arrested following a fatal shooting in north Phoenix on Oct. 23.
Phoenix police officers responded to the area of Tatum Boulevard and Deer Valley Drive regarding a shooting that Sunday evening. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a man, later identified as 31-year-old Abashe Mathis, with at least one gunshot wound, police said.
Mathis was transported to a local hospital, but did not survive his injuries and died, police said.
Detectives worked the case and established probable cause to arrest DeAngelo Robinson on multiple charges, including murder. He was arrested on Nov. 20 and booked into jail on the multiple felony warrants, police said.
