Man dies after he was struck by car in Buckeye

The crash happened at Rainbow and Roeser roads Wednesday night, Buckeye police said.

BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A man has died after he was struck by a car while crossing a Buckeye roadway, city police said.

The crash happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rainbow and Roeser roads. The man, identified as 43-year-old Michael Ferrell, died from his injuries later that night.

Police don't believe that impairment played a part in the crash. The investigation is still underway.

  • 2017: 1,000 deaths 
  • 2018: 1,010 deaths
