PHOENIX — A man died Tuesday after being hit by two cars in central Phoenix, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene, near 32nd Street and Thomas Road, just before 10 p.m. Tuesday and found a man in the road with critical injuries. Fire officials responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The man's identity has not been released.
Detectives said the man was in the road when he was hit by a car that was driving south on 32nd Street. A second car then hit the man, officials say. Both drivers stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, officials said.
No other details were released. The crash is still under investigation.
