With dry conditions across the state and a high fire risk, many are concerned about dangers posed by fireworks shows.
Some cities have announced cancellations:
Prescott
The City of Prescott announced their Independence Day Celebration will not include fireworks this year.
"Based upon the scientific factors related to the lack of sustained periods of moisture and our current risk for fire, Fire Chief Dennis Light has determined that it is in the best interest of the public’s safety to cancel the fireworks," said a news release from the city.
Flagstaff
The city has been under stage 3 fire restrictions since May. The restrictions prohibit the use and sale of consumer grade fireworks.
The city is still hosting its fourth annual Lights on the Lawn Fourth of July Celebration from 3 to 9 p.m.

Cave Creek
The Town of Cave Creek has announced the cancellation of a fireworks show for 3rd of July. Harold's Corral in Cave Creek has been hosting fireworks for 25 years.
This year, the city notified Harold's their permit for fireworks was denied.
Show Low
Show Low's annual FreedomFest celebration won't have a fireworks display this year because of extreme fire danger. However, there will still be a celebration with food vendors and a Fun Zone with rides, games and activities.
The city is currently under Stage 3 fire restrictions, which prohibits the sale and use of consumer-grade fireworks.
