Trisha’s Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 8 potatoes
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 ½ tsp. garlic salt
- ½ tsp. salt
Directions:
Boil potatoes, then drain off water and mash in the mixer. Cube cream cheese. Add cream cheese and sour cream to hot mashed potatoes.
Add garlic salt and salt. Mix well. Dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake in 350° oven for about an hour.
The mashed potatoes may be stored for 2 days in the refrigerator and baked when ready to use.
