For our latest holiday recipe, our own Jen Wahl shares her recipe for a cheesy green bean casserole.
This family recipe comes from Jen’s mom, Linda, and is a great addition to any holiday feast.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ lb grated swiss
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cans green beans (drained)
- 1 cup Corn Flakes or Corn Chex
- 2 tbsp butter
Directions
- Make a roux with butter, flour and seasonings (salt)
- Stir in sour cream and heat - Do not boil
- Add beans and cheese in a long, flat casserole dish
- Top with corn cereal and dot with butter
- Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees
