Here's how you can send a thank you letter to Valley health care workers

HandsOn Greater Phoenix, a nonprofit organization in the Valley, is asking people to show support for the hard-working medical professionals in a letter.

PHOENIX — During these trying times, a few kind words can go a long way with health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak.

But with the social distancing guidelines still in effect, we're forced to get creative in order to share those kind words.

HandsOn Greater Phoenix, a nonprofit organization in the Valley, is asking people to show support for the hard-working medical professionals in the form of a letter.

Your appreciation letters can be store-bought or handmade.

HandsOn recommends you keep the letters general and avoid messy craft items, such as glue or glitter.

You can find all the locations where you can mail the letters here

You can also take a picture or video of your letter and post it on social media with the hashtag #HandsOnforHealthcare and tag HandsOn Greater Phoenix.

You are asked to send in your letter by May 15.

You can also donate to the HandsOn For Healthcare fund, which will be used to purchase gift cards from local restaurants and businesses and given directly to medical personnel.
