Sky Harbor flight times returning to normal following ground stop caused by dust storm on Sunday

The ground stop applies to flights traveling to Phoenix and those that have yet to depart the airport.

PHOENIX — Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport experienced delays after a ground stop Sunday due to a dust storm in the Valley.

As of Monday morning, flight times looked to be returning to normal with only a few cancellations and delays.

The ground stop was issued by the FAA after the large dust storm formed in the Valley on Sunday. Flights resumed at the airport later in the evening, but there were still delays due to the weather.
