GLENDALE, Ariz. — A motorcyclist is dead after being involved in a crash with a car on Grand Avenue in Glendale, according to officials with the Glendale Police Department.
The crash happened Thursday afternoon on Grand Avenue near Glendale Avenue. Grand Avenue was closed overnight in both directions between West Myrtle Avenue and West Northern Avenue but has since reopened.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene cooperated with law enforcement. The cause of the crash is under investigation but officials do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash.
Glendale police identified the motorcyclist as Leodany Hernandez Reyes, 28.
