GILBERT, Ariz. -- The people of Gilbert just "Can’t Stop the Feeling," and the city's dance moves caught the eye of Justin Timberlake on social media.
It was a city affair as Gilbert's digital communications department produced a great parody to Justin Timberlake's popular hit, "Can't Stop the Feeling.'" Local businesses like Liberty Market, Joe's Real BBQ, TopGolf and others joined in the fun.
The impressive compilation only took 24 hours to make and involved residents from age 0-92, firefighters and the police department.
Mayor John Lewis shows off his smooth moves in the clip.
"The dance moves, it's just one of those things that happens," Lewis said. "You're sitting at your desk doing work and all of a sudden music comes on and your body starts to move. I think it's a natural thing in Gilbert."
Justin Timberlake retweeted the video and shared it to his Facebook page Thursday, completing the cycle and validating the city's efforts.
