PHOENIX — A treat for Arizona Diamondbacks fans looking for something fun and inexpensive to do this weekend. D-backs fans sporting team gear can get into the Arizona State Fair for free on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 12-5 p.m.
“It’s something we can do to share with the community,” said Luis Gonzalez, Chair of the Arizona State Fair Foundation and World Series Champ.
Acceptable gear includes Arizona Diamondback shirts, jerseys, shorts, pants, socks, hats, and hoodies. Officials said when it comes to sporting the team's gear, "The bigger the better."
Tickets to the fair are normally priced at $15.
The 2024 Arizona State Fair opens at noon every Thursday through Sunday. The last day it's open will be Oct. 27.
