PHOENIX — Fourth of July is here, Phoenix!
Whether you're looking for fireworks, a cookout or just a fun party to ring in Independence Day, there are plenty of places in the Valley celebrating the Fourth of July.
Fabulous Phoenix 4th
Steele Indian School Park will play host to a car show, rides and inflatables for little ones, local vendors and the largest fireworks display in the Southwest.
The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix and admission is free
Arizona Celebration of Freedom
Mesa will have light shows, live music, superhero stunts and fireworks to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. in downtown Mesa and admission is free.
Firework Fest
Westgate Entertainment District will have music, dining deals, an open-air beer garden, a splash zone and fireworks. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and admission is free.
Tempe 4th of July Celebration
What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a Bon Jovi cover band? Tempe Beach Park will have a Bon Jovi cover band and family-friendly activities before a fireworks display to end the night.
The event runs from 4 to 10 p.m. and admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6 and older. Kids ages 5 and under are free.
Light Up the Sky Independence Day Celebration
The Phoenix Raceway isn't just for cars. This Fourth of July, the raceway will be home to tailgating before a 25-minute fireworks display.
The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. and admission is free.
Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration
There's a whole party at Westworld, including bull riding, mutton busting and a slider-eating competition. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and tickets start at $20.
Peoria's All-American Festival
Are you looking for a backyard barbecue sans the cleanup? Look no further, Peoria has you covered! The Peoria Sports Complex will feature food trucks, carnival games, BMX performances and fireworks.
The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and admission is free.
Gilbert 4th of July Celebration
Head to the Gilbert Regional Park to enjoy a country celebration. Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean cover bands will play before the aerial entertainment begins. There will be a drone show and fireworks to enjoy.
The event lasts from 4 to 9:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Looking for fun outside the Valley?
If you can't stand the July heat, there are a few events in cooler climates you can look into:
- The Annual Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade starts at 9 a.m. on Elm Beaver Street and is free to attend.
- The Hometown 4th of July Celebration in Payson starts at 1 p.m. with a salute to service members followed by family games and activities, a concert, a pie contest, and fireworks.
- Red, White and Boom is how Prescott Valley celebrates the Fourth of July! Head to the Prescott Valley Civic Center to enjoy a day fill of bounce houses, food trucks, performances and fireworks.
