SURPRISE, Ariz. - A former part-time Surprise track coach was arrested on Wednesday for multiple sex offenses involving a minor.
Surprise police said the alleged sexual conduct began in January 2016 when a 17-year-old girl was in the custody of 38-year-old Dwayne Hawkins and his wife at their Surprise home.
Police said that after a lengthy investigation, Hawkins was taken into custody and charged with three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
