Woman's 'suspicious' death under investigation in northern Arizona

COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating the "suspicious" circumstances surrounding the recent death of a 38-year-old woman.

On Oct. 1, police officers received a report about a person seen placing an unresponsive woman into a vehicle near Beulah Boulevard and Interstate 17.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Milton Road and found the unresponsive woman inside. She was later pronounced deceased after life-saving measures were attempted.

The woman was identified as Sandy Singer of Tonalea.

Investigators have conducted interviews, executed search warrants and are continuing to investigate Singer's death. Anyone with information can contact Flagstaff police at 928-774-1414.
