PHOENIX — Glendale firefighters responded to a "barbecue out of control" on Tuesday afternoon.
While they were approaching the house, firefighters reported seeing a large column of smoke emanating from the house. When they arrived, the entire rear of the building was on fire.
Firefighters were able to eventually extinguish the blaze and reported that everyone got out safely.
"Always check your bbq connections," the Glendale Fire Department warned in a tweet.
