GOODYEAR, Ariz. — What started as a fight between two students at a Goodyear high school ended in five total arrests, city police confirmed.
The incident reportedly happened Monday at Desert Edge High School.
"Due to the large number of students in the area at the time, the School Resource Officer requested additional officers for crowd control," a Goodyear police sergeant told 12News.
Police did not release further details about what happened but said that five people were arrested for "disorderly conduct and disrupting an educational facility."
Police did not identify any of the people involved in the incident. There is no word on if weapons were involved.
