PHOENIX — A man was hit and killed by a truck on Friday evening, police said.
Phoenix police responded to the area of 32nd Street and Greenway Road in north Phoenix at 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 27 to investigate a crash involving a truck and a pedestrian, police said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with life suffering injuries who they could not identify. The man was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced deceased by medical staff, police said.
The driver of the car stayed on scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
Detectives said the victim was crossing 32nd Street outside of the crosswalk when he was hit by the truck, according to a witness.
The police did not release the identity of the man who was killed or the man who was driving the truck.
