PHOENIX — Seeing smoke in the north Valley?
Phoenix fire crews battled a large debris fire at a waste transfer station in north Phoenix Tuesday morning.
Smoke was visible in the area near 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road as crews fought the blaze. Crews worked with employees to extinguish the flames. Firefighters remained on scene to extinguish all remaining hot spots.
No injuries were initially reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
