PHOENIX — A two-vehicle crash on Loop 101 near 7th street has resulted in the death of a woman and a young child, said officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The crash took place around 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11 between two vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a Toyota Camry, burst into flames after it was struck by the other. Due to the intensity of the fire, officials say they are still working with the county medical examiner to identify the two victims inside the vehicle.
