Infant pulled out of pool in Peoria

The infant's condition is unknown at this time.

PEORIA, Ariz. — An infant was pulled from a backyard pool in Peoria, authorities said.

Peoria Medical-Fire unites responded to a residence near Loop 101 and Olive Avenue in Peoria on Friday afternoon for a reported infant in distress.

Upon arrival, crews were notified that an infant had been pulled from the backyard pool. The infant was transported to a local emergency room, authorities said.

The infant's condition is unknown at this time.
