GLENDALE, Ariz. — An 18-month-old girl has died after she was pulled from a pool in Glendale on Sunday, city police said.
The Glendale Fire Department and Glendale Police Department were called to the scene near 75th Avenue and Deer Valley Road on Sunday evening at around 5:40 p.m.
First responders started life-saving measures on the girl and she was taken to a local hospital. The girl later died at the hospital.

The child was visiting the home where the drowning happened, and the pool area was fenced off. Investigators are still working to learn who was watching the girl and how she managed to get into the pool.
No charges have been recommended as this is an active and ongoing investigation, police said.
