2 people helped a woman who was the victim of a crime in Chandler. Now police need help finding them.

CHANDLER, Ariz. — The Chandler Police Department is asking the public for help finding two good Samaritans who stepped up to help a woman on Sunday morning. 

According to police, a man and woman both stepped in to help the victim who police believe to have been assaulted.

The woman helped the victim cross the street in downtown Chandler, police said.

The man, who was driving a white pickup truck, gave the woman a ride home at some time between 4 and 5 a.m. on Sunday. 

According to police, the crime against the victim took place near the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Hamilton Street, just northeast of downtown Chandler.

Police were unable to release any more details about the case, as it is an ongoing investigation. They believe the two good Samaritans will be able to provide them with helpful information in the case.
