Cell service is back at Saguaro Lake

Storm damage rendered cell service unavailable at Saguaro Lake but it is back up as of Sunday morning, authorities say.

MESA, Ariz. — Cell service is back up at Saguaro Lake after storm damage rendered it unavailable previously.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said cell service at Saguaro Lake was unavailable because of storm damage. MCSO urged lakegoers to report any emergencies using call boxes at the lake.

One call box is located at Butcher Jones and another is located at Bagley Flats. There is also an MCSO Aid Station near the Marina off of Bush Highway, authorities said. You can report emergencies in person as well.

As of Sunday morning, cell service has been restored.
