Two weeks ago, for the game in St. Louis, a big crowd of road warriors from the Arizona Cardinals Bird Gang made the trip.
This weekend, we're hearing only about a half dozen die-hard Cards fans from the club are able to make the trip to Philadelphia. Keith Barlow, from Tuba City, Ariz., is heading east early Saturday morning for the Sunday night contest. He said he goes to six or seven road games every season, and he's not about to let any Philly fans ruffle his Cardinal feathers.
"That's the city of brotherly love, and their fans are very dedicated," Barlow said. "You know, you're going to get ridiculed, but in the end, it's just a game and that's just how they look at it."
Barlow says he's been to Philadelphia for a Cardinals' game before and did not encounter any problems. He said he'll be sporting his Cardinals gear just like any other game. He won't be hard to miss, either. His seats are in row one--right behind the Cardinals bench.
