MESA, Ariz. — A car crashed into a house in Mesa and caught on fire following an alleged shooting, police said.
Mesa police received a call of "shots fired" near Dobson and Broadway roads just after 5:30 a.m. The caller said they heard several shots followed by a "loud bang" and then saw a black vehicle that crashed into a neighbors house. The caller said two people in the vehicle took off from the crash in a westbound direction.
When officers got to the scene, they found the vehicle that crashed into the house partially on fire.
The two people from the car, later identified as two men, have not been located. Police do not know whether or not the vehicle was stolen.
Police did not release any more information regarding the incident at this time.
