Tolleson police investigating possible crash that left bicyclist dead

Details about the possible crash are limited as investigators work to learn more.

TOLLESON, Ariz. — An investigation is underway after a bicyclist was "possibly" struck and killed by a vehicle in Tolleson, city police said.

Officers were called to the area of Jefferson Street and 99th Avenue for reports that a person had been hit by a vehicle. 

When police arrived, they "found a deceased male in the roadway that was possibly struck by a vehicle," a spokesman with the department said.

Investigators are working to learn more about what led to the man's death. At this time there is no word on any potential suspects.
