A woman is in the hospital and her dog is dead after a swarm of bees attacked them in Peoria on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened near the Arrowcrest Estates neighborhood near 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird.
Several people called 911 for help. One of them was a man that was in his truck watching the entire scene unfold.
During the call he sounds clearly distressed saying he's unable to get out of his truck to help the woman as she lays on the ground covered in dozens of bees.
He tells the fire dispatcher to please hurry as he tries to warn people to stay away.
