PHOENIX - Phoenix Police have taken a man into custody as a barricade situation near 20th Street and Indian School Road has come to an end.
According to police, officers went to the home to arrest a 30-year-old suspect in connection with a sexual conduct with minor investigation.
The victim, a 14-year-old girl, was inside at the time.
The two refused to come out out of the home, prompting police negotiators and the Special Assignments Unit to respond.
Authorities had earlier said that there were likely weapons inside the residence.
Police had closed 20th Street between Missouri and Glenrosa avenues.
