GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man is injured after a shooting at a Glendale business, the city's police department said.
According to Glendale police, officers responded to a shooting call near 51st and Olive avenues. As police arrived on scene, officers reportedly found a man with a gunshot wound inside a business in the area.
Emergency crews provided life-saving measures to the man and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
An initial investigation by police revealed a verbal argument occurred between two groups of men inside the business. Police said the argument turned physical and a fight ensued in the entryway.
Glendale police said as people began to separate, shots were fired from the front of the building and into the business, resulting in the man being injured.
The identity and current condition of the man were not immediately released.
