Spend a Friday night in Old Town Scottsdale and you'll see just how much time people there spend on trying to look good.
Well, it appears they've been vindicated.
Travel + Leisure ranked Scottsdale the third most attractive city in the United States.
The magazine did not highlight Old Town's nightlife as evidence of the attraction, though.
Instead, the article noted how much sunshine we have here in the Valley, giving residents plenty of Vitamin D, as well as the awesome landscapes in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which is prime for hiking/walking/generally keeping in shape by moving around outdoors.
T+L also mentioned that Scottsdale has more spas per capita than any other U.S. city, which keeps Scottsdailites (Scottsdalans? Scottsdaliens? Scotts?) relaxed and refreshed, as well as the many boutiques in the downtown area.
Only Boulder, Colorado and Honolulu ranked ahead of Scottsdale in pretty people, and no other Arizona cities were on the 15-city list.
What do you think? Is Scottsdale the most attractive city in the Valley?
