MESA, Ariz. — One person was injured in a fire in Mesa, according to authorities.
The Mesa Fire and Medical Department said the fire happened Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex near Guadalupe and Dobson roads.
One person was burned on their hands during the fire and is being evaluated, fire officials said.
Chandler and Tempe fire departments also responded to the fire.

Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the building.
"An initial aggressive interior attack was made and the fire was stopped," fire officials said.
No firefighters were injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
