A 55-year-old man died after he became unresponsive after scuba diving at Lake Pleasant on Saturday.
The man, who was identified on Sunday as Randall Mancebo, was scuba diving with five other divers at the Vista Point Recreation Area when he became distressed underwater. He surfaced with the help of another diver.
Shortly after Mancebo arrived at the surface from a depth of approximately 60 feet, he became unresponsive.
He was taken to the shore, where first responders attempted to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful.
There were no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.
The call came in around 8 p.m.
Lake Patrol detectives were investigating.
No other information was immediately available.
