PHOENIX — Two teen boys were shot in south Phoenix on Thursday evening, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers responded to an area near 79th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road around 9 p.m. for reports of multiple people shot and found two scenes, one where the shooting took place and one where the victims were found just blocks away.
Both of the teens were taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries, officials said.
No suspect information was given. Detectives have responded to the scene.
