Suspects allegedly invade central Phoenix home, hold people inside at gunpoint

Phoenix police is investigating an alleged home invasion in which two suspects held multiple people inside the home at gunpoint, witnesses say.

PHOENIX — Two armed suspects allegedly invaded a home in central Phoenix and held multiple people inside at gunpoint, the city's police said.

Phoenix police officers were called to a home near 24th Street and McDowell Road around 8 a.m. on Sunday. When officers got to the home, they spoke to multiple people inside who told them two suspects allegedly entered the home and held them at gunpoint.

Police said the suspects allegedly stole multiple items before leaving the home in a dark-colored SUV.

Phoenix police detectives responded to the home to investigate.
