Phoenix officially hit 100 degrees for the first time in 2018 Tuesday.
Thankfully, though, we're "doing a little better than this time last year," as far as above normal temps go, the National Weather Service in Phoenix said.
Although it may feel early for a triple-digit temp, it's still a few weeks off the earliest on record.
