TEMPE, Ariz. — A man was shot following an argument in Tempe, police said.
Tempe police responded to the area of Rio Salado Parkway and Smith Road in regards to a shooting on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
Police said they learned that there was an argument between two parties. During the argument, a suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim, police said.
The person who was shot was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The identities of the person who fired the gun or the person who was shot were not released. The police also did not provide details of what led up to the shooting or what the argument was about.
