MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — One person has died and two others are injured following a three-vehicle crash in the West Valley.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to the area of 119th Avenue and Camelback Road for reports of a traffic collision.
A man was pronounced deceased at the scene and two women were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. It is not yet known what caused the crash.
The deceased individual has been identified as 24-year-old Yisak Jemal.
MCSO said impairment does not appear to be a relavant factor in causing the crash.
