SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — One person has died following a traffic collision Friday morning in Scottsdale.
The two-vehicle collision was reported along Stagecoach Pass Road and involved a landscaping truck hauling a trailer. One person was taken to the hospital and later died, police said.
The deceased has been identified as 57-year-old Thomas D. Henry.
Police said Henry was standing between the truck and trailer on the road's shoulder when another vehicle hit the back of the trailer. The collision pinned Henry to the back of the truck, resulting in his fatal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
