PHOENIX — A man has died after he was hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
At about 1 p.m. on Monday, the man was allegedly running in and around the eastbound lanes of traffic on I-10 near 40th Street. When the individual was attempting to get into a vehicle, he was hit by a semi and died at the scene.
The driver of the semi remained at the scene.
The deceased person has been identified as 34-year-old Joseph Anthony Woltman.
The incident happened only a few hours after another person was fatally hit by multiple vehicles near the Broadway Curve of I-10.
