4 family members, including 2 small children, died in a Tempe house fire. Here's how to help the rest of the family.

A father, grandmother and two children died as a result of the fire, officials said.

TEMPE, Ariz. — Two children and two adults have died from injuries sustained in a mobile home fire in Tempe, officials with the city fire department announced Tuesday.

Monica Ruiz, 51, and Ariareli "Rose" Ruiz, 3, died at the scene.

Ellany Ruiz, 18 months, and Enrique “Junior” Ruiz, 24, died at the hospital. Tempe officials said Enrique was the father of the two children and Monica was Enrique's mother.

Tempe police say the children's mother is in critical condition with serious injuries.

According to initial reports, Firefighters were called Sunday night to a mobile home park near Baseline and Kyrene roads. When they arrived, they found one of the homes "engulfed heavily in fire," Assistant Chief Andrea Glass said.

Crews were able to stop the fire from spreading. First responders took two adults and one child to the hospital in critical condition, while the bodies of two family members were found inside the residence.

Fire investigators aren't sure if the smoke detectors in the home were working. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

12News obtained security camera video from a neighbor showing the moment the home went up in flames. Neighbors say it all happened very quickly.

They encourage anyone with information on how the cause of the fire to come forward and call (480) 350-8311. They say callers may remain anonymous.

An official cause remains under investigation.
